III. Meeting of the examination
§ 3

(1) the Dr. Kleemann breed selection examination is to take place if possible in the spring. The examination can be divided if necessary temporally after field and water work. The date is specified by the extended presidency at least 1 year in advance.

(2) the federation is to ensure that only such districts are selected, which exhibit a good game trimming and also all other requirements become fair to such an examination.

(3) the federation president determines the test leader. The clubs designate particularly experienced judges from their range. The final order of the achievement and form value judges is incumbent on the federation.

(4) the meeting is divided into three sections:
1. Conception, evaluation and discussion of the dogs in the ring;
2. Examination of the achievements in the field and in the water;
3. Conception of the dogs, which existed.

IV. Execution of the examination

Section 1: Conception in the ring
§ 4

(1) the conception in the ring covers a discussion of the dogs apart from the actual form evaluation regarding the descent, blood guidance and its performance schedule on examinations, in practice and in the breed. A summary of this discussion is to be published with the achievement report in the DK sheets.

(2) dogs, which reach the form value not at least on the test day "sg", cannot participate in the examination.

Section 2: Examination in the field and in the water
§ 5

Test fan and evaluation yardsticks

(1) the dogs can be examined in a group in all subjects, in addition, in separate specialized groups field and water. One examines in specialized groups, then nose and obedience give the judgement to the group of judges field under valuation of the statements of the group of judges water the excursion with the test subjects. It is to be arranged separately according to Rueden and dogs.

(2) the dogs are to be examined under the criterion of highest requirements in the following subjects, whereby for the existence of the examination the following minimum performances are required.

Minimum performance numbers

In cases of doubt the specialized group gives the excursion to field.

Farm work
§ 6

A) general

(1) with the farm work at least four courses from ever at least 15 minutes are to be granted to each dog to, as far as reasons for a nonexistence of the examination did not occur already before. It must be the tendency of the judges to bring each dog several times (1x is not sufficient) at game in order to find a safe judgement independent of eventualities.

b) single fan
1. Nose

(1) the nose quality can be judged essentially only by an exact observation of a multiplicity of signs indirectly. The evaluation presupposes therefore high knowledge and a rich experience on the part of the judges, in order to be able to consider the respective circumstances appropriately such as vegetation, wind conditions etc..

(2) with feinnasigen dogs the work style is particularly coined/shaped by the nose use. These dogs hang them with the nose in the wind, mark wild or bird weather, chew the weather briefly when managing, find rapid, tighten far and understand it to show the game surely. One more horizontal than senkrechte head attitude is characteristic of a good nose guidance and permits often also conclusions on the quality of the nose.

2. Search

The search is not to be quickly, spaceseizing and according to plan, constantly and persistent, by any means however racing, unkonzentriert, inconsistantly and on the eye adjusted. The style of the search is to find by the use of the nose and from the tendency to to be coined/shaped. The search is in all other respects to be evaluated the more highly, the more it itself the area, to which vegetation and the wind adapt and intelligent hunt behavior shows. Water work
§ 7

1. Stoebern without duck in cover-rich waters

(1) the dog is to go on instruction of its leader without each further suggestion into the water and in covering continuously stoebern. The Stoeberarbeit is to last about 5 to 10 minutes.

(2) with the Stoebern without duck in cover-rich waters the dog is to prove its hardness and water passion at the same time and show that it can lead and be steered. In addition it must also approx. 30 m over the water to the opposite bank to be sent be able.

(3) the work is to be evaluated the more highly, the less it the support by the leader requires and the more thoroughly the dog it assigned covering portions absucht.

(4) a dog, which does not reach the performance figure 4 with this work, is not examined no more with the Stoebern with duck.

2. Stoebern with duck in cover-rich waters

3) the leader may steer and support its dog with the work, however continuously necessarily becoming effects reduce the evaluation. 

(4) as soon as the dog presses the duck from covering and it sichtig pursued, it is from the leader to hunt or a person entitled intended for it and, if is possible without endangerment. 

(5) the hunted duck must be brought by the dog independently. 

6) a dog, which does not bring a duck with first finding independently, cannot exist the examination. One of the dog eraeugte duck is considered as found.

 (7) the judges are to terminate the work of a dog, as soon as they can form a judgement, even if the dog could not press the duck from covering. 

(8) if a dog did not have an opportunity to bring a duck shot before it then a hunted duck is thrown far in the open water, which the dog must bring. Here a shot must be delivered, however only then toward the duck the water if the dog in the deep water swims. 

Brings § 8 1.

Bring to a shot duck (1) the dog has the shot duck correctly to bring. Is also the execution of bringing, i.e. the kind, how the dog takes up, delivers zutraegt and, of censoring. 2. The obedient dog must on trill whistle or other special instruction immediately the work interrupt and in another indicated direction continue working. 

(2) desired co-operation with the leader shows up in the fact that the dog adjusts itself at any time willingly to the leader, holds with it connection and is ready to enter with assistance. Co-operation is to be evaluated the more highly, the more it the impression of a loudless, brought in, supple teamwork mediated.

 Section 3: § the information of the present spectators or breeders required conception of the successful dogs and reporting, all dogs, which existed the examination, can be introduced to 10 (1) of case it again in the form of a pair search or in another suitable way at the conclusion of the examination. The achievements shown thereby have no more influence on the evaluation. (
