Oakley is a brassy, young German
Shorthair Pointerpup that is my definition of Versatile:
Capable of competing in
Obedience, Conformation, Agility, Hunting, and is
a Certified Therapy dog, and a member of the
family. "Oakley," a pup from Spirit's
second litter, and first GSP to be owned by Amy and David, and co-owned by her Breeder,
Janet Clark. She is indeed living up to
her wild west namesake, just like Annie Oakley, this dog
will be a Little Sure Shot for taking home the prize!
Temperament:
Oakley CONFIRMS her good temperament with her awards of
Certified Therapy Dog at The Therapy Dog International
test, Canine Good Citizen Certification, and
completing her Companion Dog title with a first place win
and Companion Dog Excellent with several class
placements.
Conformation: Oakley has proven herself again and again in the
show ring. Oakley gained her first
championship point her first weekend out.
She has eight conformation points including a major, Best of Breed wins, and
a Group III Placement.
Versatitity: Oakley
has been awarded her Junior Hunter Title and Novice
Agility Jumper with weaves and Open Agility Jumper with
weaves Title. She continues to compete for her
Senior Hunter
Title.
When it
comes down to it, all that can be said is that
Oakley truly is the epitome of versatility.
She is a great conformation, obedience, agility
and hunting dog. But most importantly, she
is a terrific companion and a valued member of her
family.
