She is Spirit’s daughter from her first litter and is Owned by Mike Wolfe.

	We were fortunate to have Janet Clark, her breeder and co-owner, handle her through her conformation championship. She seemed to thrive in the ring, and carried herself with confidence, maybe even an air of superiority.
	Training Tess has been a joy as she views all lessons as a game. Her attentive, bright eyes are always looking at us with expectation – whether for a treat, a ball, or a shotgun.
	She shows the same enthusiasm in the field where she has been a stellar hunting companion. Many of my friends have been impressed with her endurance, intensity, and success in the field – especially when she is hunting beside their dogs. She has a good natural retrieve and soft mouth, particularly with pheasants and quail.
	Perhaps the best thing about Tess is that she excels during the 10 months of the year when we can’t hunt. She is my Saturday afternoon college football fan. There is even some “friendly rivalry” between Tess and my wife for a spot on the recliner for a Friday evening movie. Her eagerness to please and faithful companionship have made her a great addition to the family and led me to purchase another puppy from the same dam.

Tess is  a perfect example of the intent of our breeding program.    Tess is a bright ticked gal that also has nice bone, a beautiful "typy"  head, compact feet, and moves effortlessly.    She is 22" tall,  weighs 56# and is OFA Good.   Tess completed her Championship easily, going nearly unbeaten and oftentimes being awarded Best of Opposite Sex over Specials.  She completed her Junior Hunter and Senior Hunter titles with ease as well.
